PRECINCT LEADERS ARE THE GRASSROOTS - JOIN US TODAY!
The precinct is the smallest political unit in the State of Florida. OCREC, or the Okaloosa County Republican Executive Committee, is made up of Precinct Leaders from each precinct in the county. The Executive Committee is the governing body of the Republican Party in every county in Florida.

​For every 1000 voters in a precinct, one man and one woman can be elected to membership in the Executive Committee. Attendance at two Executive Committee meetings is required and on the third meeting, the person becomes a Precinct Committeeman/woman by a vote of the existing Executive Committee. The Precinct Committee leader is the bridge between the voters and the Republican Party.

Precinct Committee Leaders are the GRASSROOTS ... the boots on the ground.

You will have the opportunity to influence the direction of the Republican Party, from the ground up! There is no time to waste.
  • Find out what voters are thinking by walking the precinct and knocking on doors.
  • Help voters get absentee ballots.
  • Recruit other volunteers.
  • Distribute campaign materials, organize neighborhood, phone banks, ad work the polls on Election Day.
  • Help candidates meet voters.
  • Take part in events and be the "go to" person for politics.
JOIN US! The only requirements are that you be a registered Republican for at least a year, and sign a party loyalty oath. No dues.
